Our Story

The Courtyard is a family run business.We live in the original farm house. The original stable yard dates back to 1830. In 1998 Derry and Myra started the process of converting the barns into luxury accommodation in Kerry. Today the result is six lovingly designed stone cottages in a courtyard setting with mature gardens, tennis court, playground and an enclosed barbecue area.

On arrival you will be personally greeted by your host Derry and Myra with a warm welcome. We love meeting people and like to provide a very personal service. A lovely welcome basket is provided in each cottage. We look forward to welcoming you to our cottages.

Our location is perfect for touring Kerry. Blennerville is a rural farming area. In the fields surrounding the courtyard cows and horses graze peacefully in the fields. The Courtyard exudes a sense of relaxation and peacefulness where guests can retreat from hectic pace of life into a cocoon of calmness and serenity. We are close to wonderful beaches and great walks.The Dingle way and Camino are only minutes from the cottages.

Our Cottages

Our cottages have been lovingly decorated to create luxury accommodation in Kerry. Four star approved by Failte Ireland and previous National winner of Agritourism award. Each cottage has a slightly different look and caters for the comfort of modern day living. With open fires in all the cottages, smart tv, excellent wifi, to luxurious bedlinen and natural bath products.

Beautifully decorated in neutral contemporary colours and fresh flowers in all the rooms create a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It is the attention to detail that leaves every cottage with a sense of it’s own personality and flare. It is the thoughtful touches that makes your stay at the Courtyard special.

The Loft

The loft is our one bedroomed cottage. It has lovely views of Sliabh Mish mountains It is a very large open plane space beautifully decorated with a contemporary flare. Exposed red brick walls and a 6ft bed with luxurious bed linen.

Wood burning stove and extra large couches. The kitchen is modern kitchen and a very large dining area with exposed beams. Nespresso machine, smart tv, excellent wifi complete the luxuries. Downstairs you have a large bathroom with a double shower. The loft is extremely popular with our couples.
